Ingredients
3cups Corn Chex® cereal
3cups Chocolate Chex® cereal
2cups Cinnamon Chex® cereal
1cup whole cashews
1/3cup packed brown sugar
6tablespoons butter or margarine
2tablespoons light corn syrup
2teaspoons ground ancho chile pepper
1/4teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
1 1/2teaspoons vanilla
1cup dark chocolate chips

Pecan halves can be used in place of the cashews.

Preparation Directions
1.In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals and cashews.
2.In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, chili and red pepper uncovered on high about 1 1/2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.
3.Microwave uncovered on high 5 to 6 minutes, stirring after every minute. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Break into bite-size pieces; stir in chocolate chips. Store in airtight container.
