Corn Chex®Rice Chex®Wheat Chex®
Ingredients
3cups Corn Chex® cereal
3cups Rice Chex® cereal
3cups Wheat Chex® cereal
1cup pecan halves
1/2cup red cinnamon candies
1/4cup sugar
1/4cup butter or margarine
1/4cup water
1cup cut-up dried apple pieces (1/2- to 3/4-inch pieces)
Ground cinnamon, if desired

Substitution
An easy substitution for the nuts is small pretzel twists.
How-To
Use a handy kitchen scissors to quickly cut the apples into pieces.
Preparation Directions
1.Heat oven to 300°F. In large bowl, mix cereals and pecans.
2.In 3-quart saucepan, heat candies, sugar, butter and water over medium heat, stirring frequently, until melted and blended. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated. Spread in ungreased large roasting pan.
3.Bake 20 minutes. Stir in apple pieces. Bake 15 minutes longer. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Store in airtight container.
